PURPOSE:To permit to obtain necessary amount of tap-delivery hot-water even when an operating unit is displaced to a position in which gas is supplied to a main burner by a method wherein the operating unit is provided with a play margin in the operating direction of a water cock and the play is made equal to the displacing amount of the operating unit. CONSTITUTION:An operating lever 22 and a gear 23 are constituted so as to mesh through sawtooth-like gears 24, 24... regulating the meshing angles so as to close a solenoid valve 1, a main valve 5 and a sub valve 13 at the same time under being pivoted integrally. The gear 23 is fitted loosely to the water cock 17 with a play (a) in the rotating direction of a pin 25 inserted into a loosely inserting hole 23a and the water cock 17. The main operating cam 26 and the operating lever 22, which are made of synthetic resin, are engaged with the play (b) in the rotating direction of the operating lever 22 while the operating lever 22 and the main operating cam 26 are retained by a lever spring 27 so as to be attracted mutually. According to this constitution, the water cock 17 will never be closed even when the operating unit 38 is displaced to a position in which the gas is supplied to a main burner and is ignited. |
