PURPOSE:To improve safety with regard to operation, by a method wherein, even if a turn cancel signal is generated along with return movement of a steering wheel, stop of the operation of a turn signal lamp is prohibited until a specified condition is satisfied. CONSTITUTION:With the lever of a turn signal switch 1 turned rightwardly for control, a CPU3 is started to actuate according to a program in a ROM4, and a turn signal lamp 9 for the right is flickered through the working of an actuating device 7. After right turn is effected, a steering wheel is turned leftwardly for return, an output is generated by a cancel signal generator 2, and a measurement starting signal is inputted to an output device 6. This causes the output device 6 to output a car moving distance signal from a current point of time, and when it is discriminated that the moving distance signal exceeds a set value, for example, 5m, the operation of the actuating device 7 is stopped, and the lamp 9 is lighted OFF. |
