SKINNED COLUMNAR FOAM AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the homogenized molding without elongation during the molding by a method wherein work is bent in a semicircular or semielliptic shape with the skin outward and the bent inner surface thereof is glued with an elongation preventing material interposed on the bent inner surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:One side of a double-side adhesive tape is stuck on the top surface of a skinned foam sheet 20 and is fed to a V-shaped pulley 12 together with a yarn 5 to form an adhesive layer 4 whereby a semicircular or semielliptic skinned foam body 13 is made with the yarn 5 interposed. An adhesive tape 16 is fed onto the bottom surface 3 of the body and stuck together with a press roll 15 and a back roll 14 to obtain a skinned columnar foam 21 having an adhesive layer on the bottom surface thereof nipping with rolls 17 and 18.
