PURPOSE:To form an image high in quality and to enhance fixability of an image by incorporating as a binder resin a copolymer resin obtained by polymerizing specified two kinds of monomers in the presence of a polymn. initiator in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent derived from petroleum. CONSTITUTION:The optimum copolymer can be obtained by copolymerizing a monomer a of an unsatd. compd. of formula 1 solvatable before and after polymerization, with another monomer B of formula 2 capable of forming a cross- linking component, preferably, in an A/B monomer weight ratio of (50-99.5)/ (0.5-50) in a petroleum type aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of a polymn. initiator, such as benzoyl peroxide or azobisisobutyronitrile, by the one or two stage heat cross-linking polymn. method. |
