PURPOSE:To improve the antiskid performance and prevent the reduction of the wet skid performance by forming the outer surface of a tread into zigzag form and forming the ridgeline connecting the tread top points on the front surface of the tread into a curve or the straight line which is not parallel to the revolution shaft. CONSTITUTION:The outer surface of a tread on the section in the peripheral direction of a tire is formed into zigzag form consisting of the connection of triangles, and also the ridgeline 3 consisting of the connection of the tread top points is formed into zigzag form. The grounded part of the tread is patterned to be positioned at the top points of triangles for the groove bottom. When a car is applied with brake or goes around a curve during traveling, the triangular top point of the tread is turned over, because of the triangular tread, and the deformation of rubber is accelerated, and the road-surface holding force is improved. |
