PURPOSE:To attain mutual conversion between a data format proper to transmission and the one proper to processing easily and to improve the efficiency of transfer by forming a function for specifying bit correspondence between a transferring source and a transferred unit on the basis of a program. CONSTITUTION:When data is to be loaded from a main memory 2 to a data register 3, a control circuit 4 turns on an address output signal on a signal line. The address part is sent from an output register 8 to the memory 2 and data is read out from the memory 2 and stored in the data register 3 through an input register 7 and a multiplexer 9. In the reverse case, the address part is similarly sent to the memory 2 and the data is read out from the data register 3 and stored in the memory 2 through a multiplexer 10 and the output register 8. The correspondence of the read-out bits is controlled by a signal outputted from a control circuit 4 inputted to the multiplexers 9, 10. |
