PURPOSE:To coat almost uniformly a sealer on a specified work surface by automatically controlling the movement of a sealer gun linearly and intermittently at a specified speed along the work surface which transforms three-dimensionally between the points where the shape of the work surface is changed. CONSTITUTION:A sealer gun 15 for coating a fluid sealer on a work surface and the first, the second, and the third guide means 3, 4, and 5 for guiding the sealer gun 15 respectively along the X-, and Y-, and the Z-axis are provided in the automatic coating device for coating the sealer on the specified work surface 30a which transforms three-dimensionally. The sealer gun 15 is driven along the X-, the Y-, and the Z-axis by the first, the second, and the third driving gear 8, 10, and 14, and the shape of the work surface is stored by an electric signal in an automatic controller 18. On the basis of said electric signal, the first, the second, and the third driving gear are driven appropriately, selectively, and intermittently at a specified speed between the points where the shape of the work surface is changed, and the sealer gun 15 is moved along the shape of the work surface linearly and intermittently.
