<p>PURPOSE:To prevent operation delay and the occurrence of faults and make the device small-size and light-weight to reduce power consumption, by connecting each reel stand to the motor of the driving mechanism directly and by providing a brake which is interlocked with the movable tape guide. CONSTITUTION:Driving mechanism 19, which is constituted that reel stands to transfer torque to supply reel 11 and take-up reel 12 included in tape cassette 9 may be driven by independent motors, and brake 19a which is operated while interlocking with movable tape guides 4 and 5 and damps rotation of reel stands mechanically are provided. Damping is given to reel stands by brake 19a under the state where cassette 9 is mounted on substrate 3, and brake 19a is released in such degree that guides 4 and 5 do not pull out tape 10 under the fast-feed or rewinding state of tape 10, and reel stands can be rotated by motors, and under the stop state of tape 10, electromagnetic damping is given to motors, and reel stands are damped by brake 19a according to operations of guides 4 and 5.</p> |
