<p>PURPOSE:To reduce mutual interference under a simultaneous operation by transmitting a signal in a desired binary random number code system of irrelevant 1 and -1 with a phase modulation to suppress a time side-lobe by a coherent integration through a pulse compression with a compression filter. CONSTITUTION:A COHO signal of a COHO oscillator 13 is subjected to a phase modulation at 0 deg. or 180 deg. with a phase modulator 14 by a binary random number system signals 1 and -1 from a random number generator section 11. A weight computing section 12 calculates the optimum weighting factor to be sent to pulse compression sections 41 and 42 and video signals of I and Q channels enter the compression sections 41 and 42 composing respective pulse compression filters to perform a pulse compression. Then, the output following the pulse compression is subjected to a coherent integration over a plurality of pulses in terms of the same range pin to suppress the time side-lobe. This can reduce misrecognition of distance to reduce mutual interferences among a number of radars while eliminating intentional jamming.</p> |
