PURPOSE:To make the retention of inclination of a door mirror releasable so easily, by installing springs being interposingly installed between a base and upper and lower ends of a housing and guide cam and an engaging cam being set up between these springs. CONSTITUTION:When a mirror housing 3 is tilted to a base 2 by degrees, an engaging shaft 11 slidingly comes into contact with a short side 15b of an engaging cam 15 as illustrated in (b) and engaged tightly with concave part 15a, thus it tilts the housing 3 and holds it. The housing 3 is further tilted largely, separating the engaging shaft 11 from the concave part 15a, and the inside of this concave part 15a is made contact slidingly with a long side 15c of the engaging cam 15, then the shaft 11 is rest to the original position (a). |
