PURPOSE:To improve the flaw detection accuracy including an ultrasonic wave transmitter group, a transmission delay controller, an ultrasonic wave receiver group, an A/D converter, a buffer memory, a reception delay controller, a signal processing circuit for obtaining an image signal and an image display. CONSTITUTION:The transmission is performed with a vibrator 101i in the direction theta of propagation as controlled by a computer 112 while a received signal waveform is memorized into a buffer memory 115 as a time-series data for each of vibrators 101i by having the operation timing of an A/D converter 114 synchronizing the point of starting the central vibrators 101i. In addition, the reflected wave from the point Pi is controlled with a reception delay time controller 116 according to the reception delay time taui computed by the formula with the computer 112 to be outputted to a waveform adder 117. Moreover, after detection and distance amplitude correction thereof with a signal processor 118, it is outputted into the image display 119 as brightness signal while an image display position signal is outputted to the display 119 to indicate an sectional image by a deflection scanning to a sample 102. |
