PURPOSE:To manufacture inexpensively the titled corrosion-resistant alloy steel sheet easy to pickle and having excellent workability by applying hot rolling, winding, cold rolling, and then final annealing to a steel slab contg. specified amts. of C, P, and Cr under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A steel slab, contg. <=0.05%, by weight, C, >=0.040% and <=0.15% P, 10.0-15% Cr, and the remainder of Fe and inevitable impurities, is hot-rolled at <=1,200 deg.C into a steel strip, which is wound at <=650 deg.C while being cooled with water. Then the slab is pickled without being submitted to diffusion annealing, and then applied with final annealing in a box annealing furnace wherein the slab is heated at a temp. increasing reate of <=300 deg.C/hr in the temp. range above 300 deg.C and heated in the temp. range 650-900 deg.C. A minute amt. of Al, Ti, and Nb can be incorporated into the steel separately or compositely. |
