<p>PURPOSE:To reverse articles automatically without any manual operations by holding the articles mounted on a carrier, transferring 180 deg. and transferring the article to the other carriers with a reversing means. CONSTITUTION:An arm 17 of a reversing means is moved approximately semicircularly and an adsorbing head 20 opened to an end of the arm is reversed 180 deg. downward to adsorb the upper surface of a package 5 in IC4 on a solid carrier 10a. Then, the arm 17 is moved arcuately in the returning direction. When an end of the arm 17 passes by an escapement hole 11 in a empty carrier 10c, the IC4 being adsorbed and reversed is transferred to the position of the escapement hole 11 in the empty carrier 10c. After the completion of the reversing operation, the reversed carrier is recovered to an unloader section where the carrier is returned to the original empty magazine. On the other hand, the empty carrier 10c from which the IC4 is ejected is recovered to a loader section and returned to the original solid magazine.</p> |
