PURPOSE:The titled moldings that are obtained by forming a composition containing a polycarbonate resin having branched long-chain alkyls on a polymer chain terminals and a conventional polycarbonate resin, thus bing formed continuously with high moldability and showing improved optical birefringence. CONSTITUTION:(A) A branced-chain polycarbonate having long-chain alkyl terminals which is obtained from a dihydric phenol, 0.01-3mol%, based on the dihydric phenol, preferably 0.1-1mol% of 3 or more functional organic compound bearing phenolic hydroxyls and a compound of formula I or II (X is COCl, COOH; Y is COO; n is 8-30) as a chain terminator is mixed with (B) a conventional polycarbonate resin at an A:B ratio of 1/99-99/1 and the resultant polycarbonate resin composition with a viscosity-average molecular weight of 13,000-23,000 is formed to give the objective articles. |
