The structural panel which can be produced in a rapid and cost-effective manner comprises a bottom layer, which cannot be provided with plaster directly, and a plaster base. The connection of the plaster base and the bottom layer is produced by an expanded and adhesive plastic which is applied only at points, for example in a bead-like or punctiform manner. Onto a bottom layer (1) consisting of rigid foamed plastic there is fastened a plaster base (2) comprising a wire mesh which, off the roll, can be processed by a bead-like application of a polyurethane foam (4). The manufacturing process ensures that the wire mesh is spaced apart from the bottom layer by a distance which is necessary for good plaster clamping. An expanded metal or a fabric is used as plaster base, while the bottom layer consists of rigid foamed plastic or mineral-fibre mats. <IMAGE>
