PURPOSE:To constitute an acousto-optic transducer which is excellent in electromagnetic induction resisting property and an explosion-proof property, causes no leak current, also has a high sensitivity, and can be made small in size, by converting an acoustic signal to an optical signal, and bringing it to an optical transmission as an FM signal. CONSTITUTION:A light having a continuous spectrum distribution of an infrared light emitting diode 40 is led to a parallel light forming lens through the first optical fiber 46, an optical branching device 45 and the second optical fiber 47, formed to a parallel light, and made incident on a plane glass plate 42 of a Fabry-Perot resonator 41. The light having the continuous spectrum distribution is reflected repeatedly in the Fabry-Perot resonator 41, fed back to the parallel light forming lens 44 again after the wavelength is selected, led to a photodetector 49 through the optical branching device 45 and the third optical fiber 48, converted photoelectrically, and thereafter, demodulated by an FM demodulator 50. |
