The invention provides a dry vacuum pump apparatus and a control apparatus for the same, ensuring stable operation of a motor and an inverter without increasing a load. A dry vacuum pump apparatus (1) with at least one pump unit and a controller for controlling the pump unit is disclosed, wherein the pump unit comprises a dry vacuum pump (2), a motor (3) of the driving dry vacuum pump (2), and an inverter (4) for controlling the rotating speed of the motor (3), and the controller (5) switches the output current limiting value from a first current limiting value to the second current limiting value. The first current limiting value is a continuous rated current value that is a maximal current value continuously flows to the motor (3), and the second current limiting value is a value exceeding the continuous rated current value. |
