PURPOSE:To clean a photosensitive body surely by pressing or separating a pollutant removing device on the photosensitive body, which is provided besides a removing device which removes a toner remaining on the photosensitive body in an electronic image forming device, to or from the photosensitive body in accordance with the presence or the absence of a latent image on the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A pollutant removing device 13 is provided near the running course of a carrier 1 which is run while carrying an electrostatic latent image 1. A wiping belt 21 is fed from a supply reel 16 provided on a substrate 14 to a take-up reel 15 through a pressing roll 20. An inverted L-shaped lever 18 and a similar lever 19 on the lever 18 are supported axially on a shaft 17, which is stood on the substrate 14, freely turnably. A cam follower 18a is provided in one free end of the lever 18 and is shaked in the direction of an arrow A in accordance with turning of a cam 24. The lever 19 is interlocked with the lever 18 to press-fit or separate the pressing roll 20, which is attached to the free end, to or from the carrier 1. The pressing roll 20 is separated from the carrier 1 by a control part omitted in the figure while a latent image carrying part passes. Thus, the photosensitive body 1 is cleaned completely. |
