PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing appearance of undesired patterns compared to before.SOLUTION: The display device has a light guide plate 1 which has a first side face 1a and a second side face 1b facing each other. At least one side face 1b has an array of convex shapes 3 each having a parabolic surface the width of which gets smaller in a direction separated away from the light guide plate 1. A light source 2b is disposed at a focus point F of the parabolic surface, and a space between the parabolic surface and the light source 2b is filled with a resin 10. With this, a beam of light coming from the first side face 1a is collected to the light source 2b to thereby reduce the reflectance toward the first side face 1a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
