PURPOSE:To automatically and efficiently perform inserting a green tire into a second stage molding drum and removing the green tire from the drum, and delivering a finished green tire using a single apparatus, by providing a transferring stage with receiving arms and clamping means. CONSTITUTION:In relation to the insertion of a first stage green tire (W), the upper limit of receiving arms 6a, 6b are set to conform to the outer diameter thereof by adjusting a slipper bolt 16. Then when a second stage green tire (W) is removed, a swinging cylinder 10 is operated at such a low pressure that the receiving arms 6a, 6b touch slightly the outer diameter. In this case, by locking a rod 11 of the swinging cylinder, the outer diameter of the green tire (W) can be changed automatically. Further, by releasing a clutch mechanism 14, the synchronous operation of the receiving arms 6a, 6b is released and at the same time the lock of the rod 11 of the swinging cylinder 10 is released, and by elevating only the receiving arm 6a, the insertion and removal of the green tire (W) and the delivery thereof from a removing apparatus 1 can be automatically carried out. |
