PURPOSE:To polish a reproduced stylus efficiently and safely at a constant time by maintaining the relative line speed between a polishing board and a reproduced stylus in the same stylus and varying the relative speed with the increasing number of the polished stylus. CONSTITUTION:The relative line speed between the polishing board and the reproduced stylus is maintained constantly for polishing the same reproduced stylus and varied with the increasing number of polishing the reproduced stylus. For example, when the number of polishing the reproduced stylus is (x), the relative line speed is (y) and constants are (a), (b), polishing is carried out with maintaining the relation of y=a+bx. By this method the polishing time becomes constant until the polishing board is out of use and becomes longer suddenly at the point that the polishing board is out of use. Consequently, the reproduced stylus is polished efficiently and safely. |
