PURPOSE:To form images of good quality without transfer deviation in a high speed by setting the linear speed of a photosensitive body in the formation of a multicolor toner image to a value larger than that for fixing of the toner image to a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 rotated in a peripheral speed of 480mm. per second is triboelectrified uniformly by an electrifier 2 and is exposed to a laser light 4 modulated by a yellow picture signal, and the first toner image is formed by a developing device 5. The photosensitive body 1 is exposed to the laser light 4 modulated by a magenta signal, a cyan signal, and a black signal successively, and toner images formed by developing devices 6, 7, and 8 are superposed on the first toner image to obtain the multicolor toner image; and next, the peripheral speed of the photosensitive body 1 is reduced to 120mm. per second, and the multicolor toner image is transferred to a recording paper P by a transfer electrode 11 and is fixed by a fixing device 14. Thus, plural toner images are transferred at a time to obtain images of good quality without deviation in a high speed. |
