(A) 46-74 wt.% polyamide; (B) 15-44 % ionic copolymer of an alpha-olefin of formula RCH = CH2 (where R is H or C1-8 alkyl) and a C3-8 alpha, beta-ethylenically unsatd. carboxylic acid. At least 10% of the carboxy gps. of (B) are neutralised with metal ions. Suitably, (B) is a random copolymer of ethylene and (meth) acrylic acid having at least 10 % of its carboxy gps. neutralised with Zn. The composn. is partic. suitable for molding and can also be extruded to form a film. Prods. with good impact resistance and flexural modulus can be obtd.
