PURPOSE:To make the plate on a plate cylinder is automatically cleaned after inking arrangement is separated from the plate cylinder while the printing is stopped, by a method wherein a plate cleaning device is annexed at the adjoining position so as to be possible to detached to the plate attached on the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When the printing operation is suspended or finished, an anilox roll 6 of a inking arrangement is detected how it is separated with the plate, and when it is completely separated, the cleaning device which was at the original position of a moving guide frame 10, operates an air cylinder and the like by getting a sign of inking arrangement is completely separated, and makes the cleaning device moving to the operating position of the moving guide frame, and while a cleaning brush 12 of plate cleaning device, a squeegee roll 13 and a squeezing roll 14 etc. are operated, a motor for driving the plate cylinder of the printing starts rotation, and the cleaning of the plate is performed. After the cleaning operation is finished, the driving of the plate cylinder and the plate cleaning device is stopped and the cleaning device is moved to the original position. |
