PURPOSE:To obtain a registering machine in which a media follower is displaced on a plane during a printing by constituting the platens for a virtical bank book and for a horizontal bank book integral, and separating the platen for the virtical bank book into two sections and each of them is constructed so as to press the bank book independently. CONSTITUTION:A platen 1 is rotated by 90 deg. in a direction of an allow A, and the platen section 3a for a virtical bank book is displaced to a position of a printing apparatus when the virtical bank book is printed. A center hold section of the virtical bank book 23 is placed in a clearance between two platen sections 3a, 3a, a head 21 and a medial follower 16 are displaced downward, and the virtical bank book 23 is pressed against the platen 3 by the media follower 16. The platen 3 is drawn downward against a spring 13 by an amount of thickness of the left page section 23a and the right page section 23b, and a to be printed surface of the bank book 23 is made to a plane. |
