PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a condenser for both auxiliary condenser and atmospheric pressure condenser by forming two spaces in a head portion of a heat exchanger provided with a diaphragm sectioning the heat transfer tube group of the heat exchanger into two parts, and providing exhaust air inlet ports in the two spaces. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 3 is provided in the head portion 2 of a multitubular cylindrical type heat exchanger 1 to form two spaces 4 and 5 within the head portion 2. The heat transfer tube group of the heat exchanger is sectioned into two transfer tube groups 6 and 7. Further, exhaust air inlet ports 8 and 9 are provided in the two spaces 4 and 5. While preventing use of a large amount of cooling seawater and generation of corrosion, one condenser can be used for two usages of an auxiliary condenser and an atmospheric pressure condenser. Accordingly, costs required for the condenser and pipeline can be greatly reduced, and particularly preferably used for a tanker. |
