PURPOSE:To enable to show only the aesthetic red-heated part of a combustion wick in the front view of a flame cylinder without showing the part in the neighborhood of a bulkhead which partitions off the inside of a flame cylinder, by dividing the wick in such a ratio that the side of it should become larger, and by burning fuel in the front and in the rear, all around the wick at the time of high combustion, while by burning fuel in the front part only at a low combustion. CONSTITUTION:A combustion wick is divided into a plurality of parts, and wick parts 1 and 2 are corresponding to flame chambers 9 and 10, respectively, which are formed by dividing a flame cylinder in a liquid fuel combustion apparatus. The wick parts 1 and 2 are disposed in the front side and the rear side of a combustion apparatus. The ratio of division of a wick is determined so that the front side is to become larger. The rate of combustion can largely be changed by using the front and the rear, all around the wicks 1 and 2 at a time of high combustion, while by using the wick 1 in the front side only at a low combustion. A bulkhead 22 is disposed a little close to the rear side by determining the ratio of front wick part 1 larger. With this arrangement, the neighborhood of a bulkhead in a combustion cylinder 11 can be kept away from visual observation, and the feeling of warm heating can be put forth. |
