PURPOSE:To prevent destruction of incorporated circuit due to static electricity, etc., by attaching an elastic magnetic or non-magnetic cover one end of which is free to open and close against the electrodes to be connected, and the other end is attached to the card body to protect it. CONSTITUTION:Connecting electrodes 12 are provided on the one end of a card body 11 both side of which protected by covers 13, 14. These protective covers 13, 14 are made by elastic and magnetic material, and one end of them can open freely for connecting electrodes 12, and the other ends are adhered to the card body 11. In normal time, the edges of the cover 13, 14 contact with the connecting electrode by their own elasticity and prevent the static electricity flowing into the incorporated circuits. When the card body 11 is inserted into a connector device 31, the protective covers 13, 14 are sucked up by permanent magnet 33, 34, and detached from the electrodes 12 of the card body 11.
