PURPOSE:To prevent a processor from malfunctioning owing to the alteration of the contents of an application program which is stored in a memory by inspecting the contents of the memory by comparing the contents right before the power source is turned off with those right after the power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:A RAM4 is provided with a store area 4a for input/output data, a store area 4b for an application program (AP), and an area 4c where its relative condition is stored. When an operator selects the condition setting of AP with a mode changeover switch 6 and turns on the power source, operation is carried out according to a flow as shown by arrows B; when AP is present in the RAM4, the power source is turned on and when AP is present, an advance to step n15 is made to make a sum check for inspecting the contents of AP, thereby deciding whether the sum check result coincides with set sum check codes in a step n7. When the both do not coincide with each other, the power source is turned off in a step n18. |
