PURPOSE:To facilitate multi-look processing to a range direction, by extracting base band information from a receiving signal at every divided band by utilizing a plurality of detectos to perform range multi-look processing. CONSTITUTION:Synchronous detectors 8, 9 respectively perform the synchronous detections of an input signal by utilizing local oscillation frequency fc1, fc2 to extract the modulated frequency components contained in the input signal. Thus extracted signals are supplied to filters 12, 13 and only modulated fre quency components in a divided band are respectively filtered to be outputted. Next, said frequency components are compressed in range and azimuth directions by range azimuth compression parts 14, 15 to be regenerated as an observation object. The absolute values of image data coherent to each other are calculated by a multi-look processing part 6 and subsequently subjected to overlapping processing by non-coherent addition to perform averaging and range multi-look processing is performed.
