PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog signal input device into which analog signals from a plurality of channels can be input for computation processing, and which can also examine the result of the computation.SOLUTION: First and second analog signals A1 and A2 are input to an analog signal input device. The analog signal input device performs predetermined processing on the basis of these signals and outputs a processing result to the outside. The analog signal input device comprises: comparison means 6a and 6b which compare first and second analog signals that have been digitized with each other; and diagnosis means 5a and 5b which diagnose a comparison result obtained by the comparison means. On the basis of a processing result obtained by the predetermined processing by performing the predetermined processing on a diagnosis signal, the diagnosis means determines whether or not the comparison means are operating properly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
