PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sentence display device which can properly guide a viewpoint to a character string to which a viewpoint should be placed in a reading process.SOLUTION: A user terminal reads sentence data corresponding to an electronic book designated on the basis of the user input (S101). The user terminal performs morphological analysis and divides a sentence indicated by the sentence data for each segment (S102). The user terminal sets a line feed so that characters in the same segment are in the same line (S103). The user terminal periodically changes display of each segment obtained by dividing the character string of sentence data Dtag with a prescribed change pattern (S106). The user terminal 3 performs grouping with respect to the divided segments (S104), and makes the phases of the change pattern different from each other for each group (S105).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
