PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for monitoring user operations.SOLUTION: In some embodiments, a front-end component collects data that may be useful to an administrator or others in determining or inferring what a user was doing or trying to do when interacting with an application. The front-end component transmits at least some of the data to a back-end component. In some embodiments, communication of data related to the user operations is piggy-backed with typical transmission, such as requests and responses, to reduce indirect costs of user operation monitoring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
