<p>PURPOSE:To enable a consecutive recording regardless whether the control pulse is recorded or not by detecting the consecutive recording based on the counted valve of the pulse synchronized with the revolution of a capstan. CONSTITUTION:The servo is controlled in such a manner that the pilot signal reproduced from a magnetic tape 22 coincides with that outputted from a pilot signal generating circuit 26. After thus completing the pull-in of tracking, a system controlling circuit 34 detects the track that was lastly recorded in the recording mode, and sets the recording mode for the consecutive recording. The detecting of the last track is performed in accordance with the counted value of a counting circuit 41 in the rewinding mode and that in the reproducing mode of the same circuit. That is, when the stop signal COFF goes to low level and the actuation of a motor 35 is started, the counting circuit 41 counts the output pulse P1 from a frequency generator 36 like in the rewinding mode.</p> |
