PURPOSE:To simplify the operation and prevent mistakes by inputting the charge for medicines stored in a bar code on a basis of medical examination data and the name of desease by a light pen and processing it with key operations. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard connected to a CPU for input through an interface, a buzzer, a light pen, a host CPU which stores internally calculation procedures of medical business calculation and controls this calculation and output, and an ROM and an RAM connected directly to the CPU for input are provided, and the CPU for input controls transmission and reception of data and signals to and from the host CPU. The charge for medicines stored on the bar code is inputted with the light pen on a basis of medical examination data and the name of desease and is processed by operation of various keys on the keyboard. Thus, since it is unnecessary to store a large quantity of charges for medicines in the host CPU and to call them, this device is used very easily inexpensively, and mistakes are difficult to occur because the operation is easy.
