<p>The invention relates to an air bubble massaging unit comprising a blower accommodated in a control unit, a bubble grid adapted to be placed in a bathtub, and an air hose, with a one way check valve connecting the control unit to the bubble grid. The control unit comprises a bush-like compressed air outlet and the bubble grid comprises a bush-like compressed air connection. The air hose being adapted to be connected, by means of air tight, detachable plug-in elements, to the compressed air outlet from the control unit and to the compressed air connection to the bubble grid. The check valve is incorporated into one of the plug-in connecting elements adapted to close off the passage through the connecting element when the blower is switched off and opening the passage when the blower is switched on. The special configuration of the plug-in connecting elements of the air hose, and the specific association with the compressed air outlet from the control unit, and the compressed air connection to the bubble grid, make it possible to achieve absolute operating reliability with the specially designed check valve incorporated into the plug-in connecting element. The air bubble massaging unit becomes serviceable only if the air hose is correctly connected to the control unit and to the bubble grid since this automatically selects the conducting direction of the check valve.</p> |
