PURPOSE:To aim at ensuring and stabilizing the supply of oil, by discharging high pressure gas into a shell to effect a high pressure atmosphere in the shell, and by supplying under pressure differential lubrication oil in an oil sump in the bottom of the shell into a space formed on the rear side of a swingable scroll through an oil passage, etc. CONSTITUTION:High pressure gas discharged from compression chambers 4, 5 is discharged into a shell 42 through a communication passage 46 to effect a high pressure atmosphere in the shell 42, and further an arrangement is made such that lubrication oil 48 in an oil sump in the bottom of the shell 42 may be fed under pressure differential into a space 25 formed on the rear surface side of a bed plate 7 for a swingable scroll 3 through an oil passage 19 and the coupling section between a crankshaft 17 and the swingable scroll 3. With this arrangement, the diameter of the crankshaft 17 may be made to be less with no size limitation being incurred, and stable oil supply may be ensured without being affected by the rotational speed. Further, the coupling section between the crankshaft 17 and the shaft 8 of the swingable scroll and the gaps between the front bed plates 7, 30 and the tips of teeth 6, 26 and between the teeth may be lubricated with oil, and therefore, it is possible to enhance the sealing ability and as well to attain a desired function with a relatively low mechanical fabrication accuracy.
