PURPOSE:A primer having improved shelf stability, showing specific effects without causing variability and reduction when alpha-cyanoacrylate is applied to a nonpolar or highly crystallized resin, comprising an organometallic compound as an active ingredient, having a controlled water content. CONSTITUTION:A primer comprising an organometallic compound as an active ingredient, having <=500ppm water content. Calcium acetylacetonate, zinc acetylacetonate, dioctyltin dilaurate, isodecyl phosphite, etc. are used as the organometallic compound. Control of water content is carried out by regulating water content in a raw material and an organic solvent used during production (in dehumidified chamber). Preferably 0.5-10mm granular desiccant is added to the primer and used. The concentration of the organometallic compound in the primer is preferably 0.001-1wt%.
