PURPOSE:To increase the productivity of cyclodextrin as far as possible, by adsorbing a specific amount of cyclodextrin glucanotransferase produced from Bacillus macerans to wet weakly basic anion exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:The amount of cyclodextrin glucanotransferase adsorbed to a weakly basic anion exchange resin is adjusted to 0.5-30mg (70-5,000 THU activity), preferably 1-20mg of protein per 1g of wet resin. The production of cyclodextrin can be increased when the resin is packed in a column, and the useless consumption of enzyme can be prevented.
