PURPOSE:To reduce a thermal stress by bonding materials having higher conductivity than a sheetlike winding material to the upper and lower ends of the winding to alleviate eddy currents at the upper and lower ends of the winding, thereby suppressing a local temperature rise. CONSTITUTION:After a steel material having higher conductivity than an aluminum is bonded by heating and press-bonding or explosion-bonding to both ends of the aluminum before forming in a sheet shape, it is formed in the sheet shape. A current density due to an eddy current is alleviated by the steel material 17, local temperature rise is suppressed, and the thermal stresses of the ends of the winding are reduced to enhance the reliability of a foil-wound transformer. |
