Provided is a blowing volume control device that automatically controls the blowing volume of a fan in an air circulation mat, and that prevents wasteful use of a battery due to forgetting to turn off a power supply switch. This blowing volume control device (1) is equipped with: a body surface temperature measurement unit (20) for measuring the temperature (measured temperature) of a prescribed region of an air circulation mat (100) contacted by the body surface of a user; a target temperature setting unit (30) for enabling the user to set a target temperature for the body surface temperature; an instruction calculation circuit (430) for calculating an instruction value from the measured temperature and the target temperature; and a rotational frequency control power circuit (440) for controlling the power supplied to a fan, by means of that instruction value. This blowing volume control device (1) causes the fan to begin blowing when the user is on the air circulation mat and the measured temperature has risen to a temperature close to the target temperature, controls the flowing volume of the fan during use such that the measured temperature does not exceed the target temperature, and stops the blowing of the fan when the user separates from the air circulation mat and the measured temperature falls below the target temperature. |
