<p>PURPOSE:To stably convey and guide a sheet, prevent the disturbance of an image, and construct the device freely and compactly by providing guide members on the upstream and downstream sides respectively of the sheet convey direction of a copying section copying an image, with the sheet kept in close contact with an image carrier. CONSTITUTION:A sheet P on which an image is to be copied when kept in close contact with a photosensitive body 3a is conveyed and guided so as to pass a copying section. The first guide member 12 is arranged on the upstream side of the sheet P convey direction of the photosensitive body 3a, and the second guide member 13 is arranged on the downstream side respectively. The start point 13a of the second guide member 13 is provided at a position further from the photosensitive body 3a than the tangent line A to the copying section curvature of the photosensitive body 3a from the nearest point 12a of the first guide member 12. A top point 13b is provided at a position nearer to a photosensitive drum 3 than the tangent line B of the photosensitive drum 3 at the effective copying section of a copying electrifier 6. Accordingly, the sheet P is kept in close contact with the photosensitive body 3a, the conveyance and guidance is stabilized, and the image disturbance is prevented so that an impact of the external force on the sheet P is not inflicted on the copying section.</p> |
