PURPOSE:To enable to supply gas being smoothed in its flow and having uniform density to a flame hole part by installing a smoothing plate in such a manner that burner plates having symmetrical forms and fuel paths are overlapped and the smoothing plate having a number of holes is installed under the flame hole part placed at the top of a unit and enables gas to flow uniformly to the flame hole part. CONSTITUTION:A burner unit is composed of overlapped burner plates 1, 2 having fuel paths and thereon a flame part 3 is placed and also a smoothing plate 7 is placed under the flame hole part 3. In this smoothing plate there are a number of holes 8 of which sizes and pitches become smaller and wider one after another respectively from direction A to direction B. Namely, gas passing through the fuel path 6 from a inlet of the burner unit 5 is enabled to flow in uniform density by the sizes and pitches of holes 8 in the smoothing plate 7 before being introduced into the flame hole part 3 and then is introduced into the flame hole part and also gas is smoothed in the vertical direction as passing through the holes 8.
