PURPOSE:To prevent boots from being cracked, by eliminating the generation of a small curvature part and a clearance in the vicinity of the peripheral end part of a spiral cir-clip when it is mounted. CONSTITUTION:A spiral cir-clip 10 is designed so that a number of turns of the winding, when the cir-clip is mounted, previously obtains almost 7/4 turns. The spiral cir-clip 10, spreading its internal diameter in the free condition, is mounted to a boots groove 9. Consequently, the spiral cir-clip 10 comes to tighten a boots large opening edge part 8 to a peripheral groove 15 of a socket 11. While also a part in the vicinity of a peripheral end part 21 of the spiral cir-clip 10 comes to be brought into close contact with the internal peripheral side with no generation of a small curvature radial part. Accordingly, when the spiral cir-clip is mounted, a crack of the boots is eliminated by generating no small curvature part and clearance in the vicinity of the peripheral end. |
