PURPOSE:To correct the difference in the amount of light in a light detecting region due to the distortion of a lens uniformly without changing the area of a light receiving surface, by constituting a photoelectric conversion element by a light detecting element having an amplifying function and the load resistance of the element, and differentiating the resistance value of the load resistor in correspondence with the position of the photoelectric conversion element. CONSTITUTION:A light detecting element Tr having an amplifying function and a load resistor 21 of the element are provided in a photoelectric conversion element 100. The element 100 is arranged in a solid state image pick-up element in one dimension or in two dimensions. The resistance value of the load resistor 21 in said device is made different in correspondence with the position of the photoelectric conversion element 100. For example, ununiformity in a photoelectric conversion signal due to the distortion of a lens can be corrected. When an image pick-up element becomes large as in the case of a high-quality TV and the intensities of light is different at the central part and the peripheral part in the image region are different, the resistance value of the resistor element 21 is made different in correspondence with each part of the image region. The amplification factor can be made different in correspondence with the position of the photoelectric conversion element. Thus the signal corresponding to the uniform light intensity can be obtained. |
