PURPOSE:To provide an adequate draft and to make mass production of patterned and shaped castings at a low cost in a toric, spherical or cylindrical metallic mold by constituting said metallic mold in such a manner that the patterns and shapes appearing on the surface in the stage of laying down horizontally the vertical axis thereof are projected most near the uppermost surface and are gradually decreased toward both sides. CONSTITUTION:The center line of petals a3, a7 are meted with a base line B and a petal a2 is formed on the side slightly inner toward the center line C orthogonal with the line B than the upper terminal of the petal a3 when the metallic mold A1 is placed in a horizontal state. A petal a1 is formed on the side slightly inner than the upper terminal of the petal a2 successively thereto. The petals are so formed that the petal a1 projects most and that the degree of projection decreases gradually toward both sides. The casting mold such as shell mold is thereby formed on the metallic mold A and is made easily removable upward (toward arrow b direction). The patterns and shapes of the petals with the petal a1 as a center are sharply molded to the casting mold.
