PURPOSE:To prevent the degeneration of the surface conditions of the title medium in preservation by enclosing a lubricant in the hole part. CONSTITUTION:A high-permeability metallic thin film 7 of an Fe-Ni alloy is formed on a nonmagnetic film 3 of polyester by sputtering and a vertically magnetized metallic thin film 8 of Co-Cr is further formed thereon. An Al layer is further formed thereon by vacuum deposition and a porous oxide film 9 is formed in a sulfuric acid soln. by using the Al layer as the anode and anodizing the Al layer. The oxide film is washed, dried, immersed in a soln. obtained by dissolving a perfluoroalkyl polyether lubricant in a solvent and dried at 60 deg.C. A lubricant 11 is enclosed in a hole part 10 to obtain a magnetic recording medium. Namely, since the hole part is impregnated with the lubricant, an appropriate lubricating function is provided, stickines on the surface of the medium is eliminated and a medium which is easy to handle and suitable for preservation can be obtained. |
