Herbicidally active novel 4,5-disubstituted 1,3-thiazol-2-yloxyacetamides of the formula <IMAGE> in which R1 is fluorine or chlorine, R2 is alkyl or halogenoalkyl, and R3 and R4 each independently is alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkenyl, halogenoalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyleneoxy, alkoxy, aralkyl or optionally substituted aryl, or R3 and R4, conjointly with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded form an optionally substituted, heterocyclic ring which can contain further hetero-atoms. |
