PURPOSE:To form bag bodies in two completely independent air chambers and maintain buoyancy with one air chamber even if the other bag body is broken by forming a life jacket with a couple of independent bag bodies consisting of barrel sections and annular sections and having a flat shape or a near 9-shape. CONSTITUTION:A life jacket is constituted with two separate bag bodies 1, 2 of the same shape. The bag bodies are formed with a non-permeable cloth material, and barrel sections 3, 4 and annular sections 5, 6 are connected so as to form a flat shape or a near 9-shape. Cut cases 7, 8 and auxiliary air feed rubber tubes 9, 10 are fitted to the barrel sections 3, 4 of individual bag bodies respectively so that the bag bodies 1,2 can be inflated with carbon dioxide by pulling cords 7a, 8a. Accordingly, even if one bag body is broken, buoyance can be maintained with the other bag body.
