In the case of an ammunition container, an inner tube 4 is bonded into an outer sleeve 1. There are tolerances between the outer sleeve 1 and the inner tube 4. In order to improve the bonding, a foam-material adhesive 7 is expanded between the inner tube 4 and the outer sleeve 1. The bonding is produced by the fact that foam-material adhesive 7 is deposited onto the outer sleeve 1 or the inner tube 4 in some regions, that the inner tube 4 is not pushed into the outer sleeve until this has been done, and that the foam-material adhesive 7 is then expanded and cured. <IMAGE>
